Neural mechanisms that cause or maintain deliquent or violent behavior in various mental disorders (including antisocial personality disorder, substance dependency, schizophrenia and parahilias). 
Forensic care research (Maßregelvollzug) on predictors of treatment success, effectiveness of various forms of intervention, or issues of legal probation for mentally ill or addicted offenders.
